Off the room # 1: This room has 2 queen beds, covered with rose-colored quilts. It is a nice sized room, with beamed ceilings (this is a ground floor room, and they all have beamed ceilings), 2 chairs, TV, and all the other amenities mentioned above that each room has. The view: this is one tremendous view overlooking the shimmering lake waters, a pier, and an island. Ahh this is a great one!
Room #12: With a partial water view, this is another very nice room. It overlooks grass and trees as well, and comes with 2 double beds draped in gray and teal diamond-patterned quilts, 2 chairs, TV, writing desk, mirror and more. Nautical themed prints ad a nice touch to the walls. The bathroom has a nautical themed shower curtain draping the tub/shower and tiled floor. Small, but functional.
Room #10: A king bedroom with beamed ceiling, a partial water view, white wood walls with decorative stenciling along the ceiling line and accenting doorways and switch plates, this is another nice room. Bathroom was about the same as # 12.
The Suite.
The Sideview Suite faces the side (south) of the property, but still provides a water view - yes, you can be lying in bed in this suite and look at the peaceful waters of Lake Michigan how good is that?! Excellent!
You enter, and go through a second doorway to the sitting area that has a TV, 2 yellow/blue/green loveseats, a coffee table, fridge and ceiling fan. Gaze out the window and you can get a pretty good view of the water, trees and grass. The bedroom has a king bed, 2 nightstands with lamps, a TV and plenty of closet space this is a big room. White walls add brightness, tile ceiling and again, the partial water view from lying in bed is very nice. Down the hall is the bathroom, with shower/tub and standard features.
Kids are welcomed, but no pets. Open May through October. Note that there is no air conditioning here, but the cool waters on the Lake Michigan side provide natural and comfortable coolness |
